A ritual-inspired journey shaped by Confucian philosophy, the elemental force of fire, and the mythic Fenghuang—an emblem of balance and collective renewal. Across five “chapels”—through ritual gesture, breath, and pulse, the dance becomes a meditation on renewal and the power of collective transformation.

The work centers on the spiritual searcher and merchant of purple cloth, Lydia, who is considered the first recorded convert to Christianity in Europe. The work emphasizes openness, seeking truth and divine intervention.
A site-specific work designed as a non-linear journey through the Philadelphia Rail Park, emphasizing self-discovery and togetherness in a post-lockdown world. The Performance structure utilizing five distinct sites, with 2 sites of simultaneous performance segments and concluding with a collective final.
